ANN M. DONNELLY, DDS

Dr. Ann Donnelly was born in San Francisco and raised by two parents who dedicated their lives to bettering the community. Her mother was an elementary school teacher and her father was a dentist for almost 40 years, inspiring her love of dentistry at an early age.

A lifelong Californian, Dr. Donnelly earned her Bachelors Degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and continued her education at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where she received her DDS.

Dr. Donnelly is licensed by the Dental Board of California and is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the San Francisco Dental Association. A dentist with a grasp of the most innovative, minimally invasive new procedures, Dr. Donnelly is dedicated to lifelong learning and practice of the most current and advanced techniques.

Dr. Donnelly spends time with each patient to get to know them personally and ensure they are satisfied and comfortable with their treatment. She knows that each person has different needs and expectations and will work with each individual to achieve maximum oral health, restore function and give them a smile they can be proud of.

Through a combination of state of the art technology and genuine devotion to the unique needs of each patient, Dr. Donnelly preserves healthy teeth and gums, alleviates oral discomfort and improves the appearance of San Francisco’s smiles on a daily basis.

In her free time, Dr. Donnelly can be found enjoying San Francisco and the Bay Area with her husband Jamie and their two children.

Dr. Donnelly has been practicing in downtown San Francisco since 2005 and plans to spend the rest of her career giving the community healthy smiles!

LAURA IBARRA, DDS

Dr. Laura Ibarra found her calling at a young age as she embarked upon her dental career at Havanna University in Havana, Cuba. After extensive training, she recognized the need for many in her hometown and chose to provide care to underserved populations.

These years spent working in both private practice and hospital care fed her curiosity and drive to learn. They led her to continue her education at the University of Texas, San Antonio where she graduated with honors.

Dr. Ibarra takes pride in her career and her ability to help patients navigate what can feel like for some a daunting dental experience. Her exposure to all aspects of dentistry allows her a balanced and insightful perspective while her patience and empathy guide her care. She truly adheres to a patient first philosophy in dentistry.

The time in which she is not engrossed in dentistry, Dr. Ibarra enjoys spending time with her family, both soaking up the beauty of the Bay Area as well as embarking on adventures around the world.

trina clay, REGISTERED dental assistant

Trina was born and raised in San Francisco, and obtained her Degree in Clinical Dental Assisting from Bryman Corinthian College and City College of San Francisco. She is a Registered Dental Assistant with over 20 years experience in General Dentistry, Periodontics, and Oral Surgery. Her expertise, compassion, and dedication to her profession cannot be overstated.

Trina discovered her passion for healthcare at an early age during routine visits with her childhood dentist (some pleasant and others unpleasant). She grew to understand the importance of a person's teeth to their overall health. She chose a career in dentistry because it allows her to provide direct patient care. She is extremely knowledgeable and helps guide our patients to make the best decisions for their oral health and smile! Trina says, "It's a pleasure working with Dr. Donnelly and our team as we strive everyday to keep our patients feeling comfortable and appreciated."

In her free time, Trina enjoys attending music festivals with her girlfriends, cooking, reading, and interior designing, but above all, she loves spending time with her wonderful family.

MELODY FISCHER, DENTAL HYGIENIST

Melody was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. After earning her Dental Hygienist Degree at Portland Community College in 2017, she moved to San Francisco to start her career. She is a compassionate bilingual hygienist who enjoys using her Spanish whenever it can help. Melody’s high energy and enjoyment towards oral hygiene will make you forget you’re in a dental chair. She loves answering tough questions and helping patients better their overall oral health.

Melody chose her career in dental hygiene because she loves being a part of making others smile. “There’s no better feeling than being able to change someone’s smile by just cleaning their teeth!” She truly believes that with the right approach and motivation, every patient can have a healthy smile.

In her free time, Melody enjoys hiking, playing basketball, cooking, and exploring San Francisco. Her true passion is traveling the world with her husband. Any travel recommendations are very welcome!

SHOICHI KIMOTSUKI, dental hygienist

Shoichi was born and raised in San Francisco. He earned his bachelor's degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California at Berkeley, along with a minor in Entomology (yes, he studied bugs!). From there he went on to complete graduate school at the University of Los Angeles School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Shoichi chose a career in dentistry because he truly enjoys working with people. He believes few professions allow one to follow along with people through life on an ongoing basis. In fact, he has seen many of the same patients for over 15 years! Shoichi says, "It is a privilege for me to be allowed to render such service for people, and something that I take seriously. It also helps having wonderful people to work with, both patients and our team."

While many San Franciscans take advantage of the gorgeous hiking trails along the city, Shoichi prefers activities with less walking! In his free time, Shoichi enjoys camping, road trips, movies, drawing, painting, and sculpting. Although, his favorite thing to do is spend time with his wife and two kids (his very funny kids)!
